Tasty Tuesday – Skillet Lasagna

Back when I used to make pasta all the time because I didn’t know how to cook much else, this was a dish I made often. It is the ultimate in comforting foods, yet looks fancy enough for a nice dinner.

First you start off by browning ground turkey (or beef, if that’s your style). This was a pound package from Costco. I added minced garlic and onion powder while it was cooking.

Once it is sufficiently browned, add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken stock, and ravioli.  Yes, I know it says lasagna, but I didn’t name it. Cook until sauce is thickened and ravioli is done, then add cheese.

Voila: easy, fast and full of flavor. For the full recipe, go here.

I hate cooking anything with tomato sauce because it does this while simmering. My poor white stove that just got cleaned yesterday. Whyyyyy….
